Nobody is going to download another app. But everybody opens a link.

Your own app asks people to install it, sign up and remember it exists. Three conditions before the first order, and each one loses people. Your store is an address: you open it, you pick, you order. And on the other side it is not a separate store — it is your catalogue, the same one your team sees.

The total is recalculated on the server at checkout: prices are read back by id, so a price changed in the browser cannot charge less. Today the order arrives unpaid and is settled on delivery — online payment is not there yet and we are not going to say otherwise.

The problem

Three things that happen when the store lives outside.

The app gets downloaded once

And never opened again. Someone who installed it and did not come back is a customer you already won and are losing every month.

The catalogue gets loaded twice

One for the store floor and one for the shop. The day a price changes, it changes in one of them, and the one you forgot is the one charging wrong.

The sale ends up outside the system

It lands in a different panel, with other customers and other numbers. To know what you really sold you have to add two sides by hand.

What it does

Four things, and each one is a decision.

1It is a link, not an app

delorean.id/app/your-brand. It opens in the browser people already have, with nothing to install or update. Whoever shares it on WhatsApp shares the whole store.

2The server decides the price

At checkout, prices are read back by id against your catalogue. A price tampered with in the cart cannot charge less: the number being charged never comes from the browser.

3The sale lands where they all land

With its channel and its customer, in the same table as the counter and the aggregator. It goes to Sales, and to Kitchen if that module is on. There is no separate panel to add up later.

4The points are the same points

Someone ordering from your store earns in the same programme as someone ordering on WhatsApp or at the counter. Redemptions and missions included. One balance, not one per channel.

Written from each product's public documentation. They are mature tools and this page says where they are still better. No prices here: they change on their own and the page would end up lying without anyone touching it.

Where it goes

You can try it with one branch, in an afternoon.

  1. The same day

Publish one branch catalogue and the link exists. Send it on WhatsApp to the customers already writing to you, who are the ones closest to ordering.

  2. Week 2 - the points

Turn on Loyalty over that same link. Whoever orders there earns, and that is the concrete reason they stop ordering through the aggregator.

  3. Month 2 - the network

The rest of the branches, each with its menu and what it is out of. And one number per branch: what share of its orders came through your own channel.

The deal

What changes, and what is left alone.

Changes

  • A public link appears with your catalogue and your prices
  • Sales from that link land in Sales with their channel
  • Points start being earned from there too
  • Each branch can have its own menu and its own out-of-stock list

Left alone

  • Your app, if you have one. Unchanged
  • Your presence on the aggregator. Unchanged
  • Your prices: it is one catalogue, the same everywhere
  • Payment: today it is settled on delivery, like a phone order
FAQ · Your store

The 10 questions people ask about Your store

Does the customer have to sign up?

Not to order. Details are asked once and kept in that browser. To see their points or their history, then yes, they create an account with an email code or a password.

Can people pay online?

Not yet. The order arrives unpaid and is settled on delivery, like one taken over the phone. We would rather say it than put it on the page and have it surface in the demo.

Can I have a different menu per branch?

Yes. Each branch has its menu, its own price where needed, and what it is out of: what that branch does not have today cannot be ordered there.

What if someone changes the price in the browser?

Nothing. At checkout the server reads the prices back by id against your catalogue and recalculates the total. The number being charged never comes from the browser.

Do you charge a commission per order?

No. The plan charges consumption -- storage and volume -- not a share of what you sell. One more order through your store does not pay us more.

Are the points the same as the ones at the counter?

Yes. One balance per customer, wherever they earn it. Redemptions and missions too.

Can coupons be used?

Yes, validated at checkout against the same catalogue.

Does the sale reach the kitchen?

If the Kitchen module is on, yes: the order shows up on the branch screen like any other.

Do I need my own domain?

No. The link comes with your name on delorean.id. If you want your own domain later, it connects.

How long until it is up?

As long as it takes to have the catalogue loaded. If it is already in the system, the link exists the same day.

And if I already have a store?

They can coexist. This does not replace it on day one: you try it with one branch and compare it against itself.
